Story Theatre
3 - 5 years old
Developing Language, Focus, and Confidence
Stories give feelings, emotions, and meaning to words unlocking complex language structures, expanding vocabulary, and expressing ideas and feelings effectively.

Story Theatre is an immersive literacy and social-emotional program for 3–5 year olds that go beyond simple story time.

In each session, children read, create, and present. This process helps children:

- Get ready to read (learning sounds and words).
​
- Focus and follow directions (boosting attention).
- Understand own feelings and get along with others. - Speak clearly and tell complete, organised stories. It’s a holistic program for developing Literacy, Focus, and Confidence!
Reading Program
4 - 6 years old
Developing Confident and Curious Reader
Reading is more than just a skill, it is a tool for knowledge and discovery.​​
It is a gateway to knowledge, creativity, and personal growth. While phonics is often over emphasised, we focus on both word recognition and language comprehension to ensure holistic reading development. The Beyond Words Reading Program is grounded in the Science of Reading pedagogy and Scarborough’s Reading Rope model. The program develops a full range of skills needed for skilled reading and comprehension. Our program focuses on: 1. Oral language 2. Phonological awareness (including phonics) 3. Vocabulary 4. Fluency 5. Comprehension We use the Big 5 of Reading components comprehensive approach to build confident and capable readers ready to explore and connect with the world through literacy.
Writing Program
Kindy to Year 10
Developing the Craft of Writing
The craft of writing is the art of thinking.​​​​

AI can write, but it cannot think. Some may believe that the advancement of AI writing tools will make writing skills less important in the future. However, learning the craft of writing is the development of thinking skills. Writing helps children articulate their thoughts, solve problems creatively, and engage meaningfully with the world around them.
The Beyond Words Writing Program develops both the technical skills of writing and the creativity that brings words to life. Students learn to write with clarity, confidence, and purpose through: 1. Planning and Drafting 2. Sizzling Start 3. Building Tension and Climax 4. Language Enhancement Tools: Figurative language and show, not tell 5. Grammar and Syntax ​We combine creativity, technical mastery, and personal growth preparing students for academic success and lifelong communication. ​Help your child unlock the art of thinking through the craft of writing.

The Beyond Speaking Program is designed to nurture individual's unique speaking style because there is no single "right" way to present.​​​
Our program uses the art of storytelling as its core approach, enriched by the 5Ps of Storytelling: ★ Purpose, People, Picture, Plot, Point ★ Developing unique charisma (your own voice and style) ★ Fine-tuning a confident and resilient mindset ★ Gaining real-life stage experience through practical opportunities. ​This program equips your child for purposeful and impactful speaking. There are two options: 1. We assist in preparing your child for a specific speech competition or event he/she is participating. 2. Your child to participate in speaking events we organise. (contact us for events calendar) All your child needs is to be themselves; not trying to copy or adopt someone else's style. Just provide them with plenty of real-life opportunities in a safe and empowering environment where they can practice and build confidence, competence, creativity, ownership, and originality.
